Instructions not to use Prime Minister’s photo on banners and billboards for government events

The government has banned the use of the Prime Minister’s image in all types of promotional materials, including banners, festoons, and billboards, created for any government event.

In addition, instructions have been given to clearly present the content, objectives, and public awareness message of the event in these promotional materials.

This instruction was given in a circular issued by the Cabinet Division on Sunday, July 5.

The circular issued states that the use of the Prime Minister’s image (in 3D or any other form) on banners, festoons and billboards prepared for any government event is completely prohibited.

It also states that when preparing banners, festoons, and billboards for government events, necessary and consistent information must be presented, giving priority to the content of the event.

Banners, festoons, and billboards must be designed in such a way that they clearly reflect the purpose, message, and content of the event.

The circular also states that the matter is of utmost importance and will be effective immediately.
