Mob leaders traumatised by goat theft, with little time left to think about the country’s situation

Asif Nazrul felt very bad for his little girl. The amount of trauma his daughter had to go through is definitely not good for a child to grow up in. I felt sympathy and love for her.

At the same time as the goat theft, Awami League leaders and activists were being persecuted. Murders, rapes, and house arson were taking place. Asif Nazrul and his family played an active role in these incidents. These atrocities are still happening every day, somewhere.

It is difficult to quantify the amount of trauma and horror that the victims of these incidents and their families have gone through.

Even looking at the trauma of Asif Nazrul’s own daughter, he does not feel any sympathy for those people and their families and children. Yet, they give us all the humanity we need. They will give it again if they get the chance.

Nasiruddin Patwari is a grown man. Not a teenager, not even a child. He couldn’t resist the temptation to steal a little girl’s pet goat.

Then they partially slaughtered the goat and left it for a long time. Because it was not possible to do the work with a knife. Later, they brought a chapati from Kawran Bazar and completed the work.

Many of us eat meat. We eat to survive. We also eat for the pleasure of the taste. But that does not excuse cruelty.

If a child sees a girl’s pet goat, some kind of unkind person might want to steal it and eat it. It is impossible for those who cannot control their greed when they see a girl’s goat to control their greed for corruption.

As a result, they have all become banana trees with swollen fingers. Those who did not have rickshaw fare in their pockets are now owners of thousands of crores of taka. They drive cars worth crores of taka. They live in luxurious apartments.

The country is in their hands, the country is in ruins. As a result, a golden age of looting is coming. Some are looting by buying gas at high prices, some are looting by taking commissions from Boeing planes, and some are looting by extortion.

This money doesn’t come from the sky. It comes from the pockets of ordinary people. The money is being taken from their pockets by increasing the price of electricity, gas, and commodity prices.

The country was in the hands of the East India Company and its local allies. Within a decade of the British taking power, Bengal was transformed from the most prosperous country in the world to a famine-stricken country.

The economy, which has grown from a $72 billion economy to nearly half a trillion dollars, is now plagued by looting. Meanwhile, electricity bills and house rents have now become close. What do they care about the happiness and sorrow of the people?
