Cumilla City Sees First Chhatra League Procession Featuring Banner Reading “Sheikh Hasina’s Return Is Necessary to Save the Country” (Video)

On the direct instructions of Sheikh Hasina, a procession was organized by the Comilla Metropolitan Chhatra League under the theme ‘Sheikh Hasina’s return to save the country’. This is the first such procession of the Chhatra League in Comilla city.

The procession was conducted under the overall supervision of Comilla Metropolitan Chhatra League President Nur Mohammad Sohel and General Secretary Mosharraf Hossain Moon. The procession was taken out on the streets of Comilla to make the return of Bangabandhu’s daughter, Jananetri Desh Ratna Sheikh Hasina, a successful one.

The participants in the procession held festoons with pictures of Sheikh Hasina, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and other Awami League leaders and raised slogans. The banner read:

‘The return of the people’s leader Sheikh Hasina is necessary to save the country’

A video posted on Noor Mohammad Sohel’s Facebook page shows scenes of the procession, where activists marched on the streets with enthusiasm.
