Sheikh Hasina vows to restore development trend, instructs leaders and activists to prepare

In a speech delivered to the countrymen from the official page of Bangladesh Chhatra League yesterday, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina encouraged party leaders and activists and expressed her strong determination to restore the country’s development momentum.

Referring to the deprivation of the countrymen in the past year, he instructed everyone to be patient and refrain from the politics of revenge, and urged party leaders and activists to be ready to work for the country.

The Prime Minister said, “I am coming. Forget the losses you have suffered. We do not play the politics of revenge. You are my family. I will bear the burden of your losses.”

He further emphasized, “I am confident that I will restore the standard of living of the people of Bangladesh to the same level of development that the country and its people have been deprived of in the past year.”

To this end, he instructed all party leaders and activists to be ready to work for the country.

Sheikh Hasina reiterated her commitment to ensure justice for the injustices and atrocities committed against party workers and urged everyone to be patient and work peacefully.

“We will not walk the path of revenge. Our goal is to establish justice and ensure peace and prosperity in the country,” he said.

He told the leaders and activists, “Get ready to work for the country. Together, we will take Bangladesh back to the pinnacle of development.”
