Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain claims that the allies of the Awami fascists are creating various artificial crises in the country to thwart the BNP government.

He made these comments at a view-sharing meeting at the conference room of the Manikganj Deputy Commissioner on Monday afternoon, August 31.

The minister claimed that they first wanted to create a fuel crisis and make the people suffer. A certain group used to go from one pump to another all day long to collect oil. The government’s strict action resolved that problem within just a week.

Regarding the fertilizer crisis, he claimed that although there is sufficient fertilizer stock compared to previous years, the dealers of the fascist era created this crisis. To deal with the situation, measures are being taken to appoint one new fertilizer dealer in each union of the country.

He said that despite problems in importing LNG due to the war in the Middle East, LNG has been purchased at high prices to alleviate the shortage of gas and electricity, and 9 to 10 power plants will be operational within the next week.

To solve the electricity problem, the government has undertaken a 3- and 5-year plan to install solar systems on rooftops and solar panels on non-agricultural land.

At this time, the Health Minister announced the establishment of ‘Health and Wellbeing Centers’ in every union of the country and the recruitment of 42,390 new health workers to ensure healthcare for marginalized communities.

Food Minister Afroza Khanam, MPs SA Jinnah Kabir, Moinul Islam Khan and Superintendent of Police Mohammad Sarwar Alam also spoke at the meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Nazmun Ara Sultana.
