BNP Leader Dina Supplied Bulldozer for Dhanmondi 32 Demolition

Ayesha Akhter Dina, a Narayanganj City Corporation (Nasik) councilor for reserved women’s seats in wards 10, 11, and 12, and a leader of the Narayanganj district women’s wing of the BNP, allegedly supplied a bulldozer used in the demolition at the historic Dhanmondi 32, the residence of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

According to reports, Dina oversaw the arrangement of the bulldozer on Wednesday night, using equipment sourced from Narayanganj City Corporation.

Dina posted three updates related to the incident on her Facebook account. In one of her live videos, the bulldozer is seen being transported toward Dhanmondi 32 via the Mayor Mohammad Hanif Flyover. Dina, sitting in a vehicle trailing the bulldozer, streamed the event live on Facebook.

On Thursday afternoon, Dina shared another video of the bulldozer with the caption, “The historic bulldozer.”

The incident has raised significant concerns and calls for investigation regarding her involvement and the use of city resources in the event.
