Crude Bomb Explodes Near Mamunul Haque’s Madrasa; Locals Suspect a ‘Staged Drama’

A cocktail explosion occurred next to Mamunul Haque’s madrasa Jamia Rahmania Madrasa in the Chan Mia Housing area of ​​Mohammadpur Police Station in the capital.

The miscreants committed this incident at 7:57 pm yesterday.

Abdullah Al Mamun, Assistant Police Commissioner (AC) of Mohammadpur Zone of Tejgaon Division, confirmed the matter.

He said the miscreants arrived on a motorcycle on Road No. 4, north of Satmasjid and Rahmania Madrasa in the Chan Mia Housing area, and fled after setting off a cocktail.

Khelafat Majlis Central Organizing Secretary Md. Faisal said that the bombers detonated a cocktail near the Rahmania Madrasa and the office of Khelafat Majlis Amir Mamunul Haque and fled.

There is doubt in the political arena about whether this is part of the series of bomb explosions happening across the country, or whether it is a far-fetched plan by Mamunul Haque to show himself as a victim and stay in the spotlight.

Locals are also claiming it is a staged drama.
