Former U.S. President Joe Biden diagnosed with a deadly form of cancer

Former US President Joe Biden, 83, has had prostate cancer spread to other parts of his body, including his bones, his son Hunter Biden has said.

In an interview with the BBC, he gave this critical update on his father’s condition, saying that he was enduring severe physical pain as the cancer spread.

“It’s really hard and painful to watch… I wish he would come out more, because the situation is not good,” Hunter Biden said in an interview with the BBC on Saturday, August 8.

He added that although the cancer has spread to the bones and distant parts of the body, which is extremely painful and debilitating, his father is still active out of his deep faith in the country.

Former President Joe Biden was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer in May 2025. He later underwent hormone therapy and radiation therapy.

In this lengthy interview, Hunter Biden also spoke about his father’s pardon decision, which came in the final weeks of the president’s term.

He said that he is the luckiest person in the world regarding forgiveness and is eternally grateful to his father for this decision.

Joe Biden demonstrated complete forgiveness through a special order issued to his son in December 2024, which reaffirmed and broke his previous promise not to interfere.

This pardon ends the federal firearms and tax evasion convictions against Hunter Biden.
