A shocking incident has created a stir in the Uttar Patenga Muslimabad area of ​​Patenga police station in Chittagong city. The headmaster of the local Habibul Uloom Islamia Madrasa has been accused of raping a 13-year-old girl. After the incident came to light, angry locals surrounded the accused teacher and handed him over to the police after a mob beating.

 

According to local sources, when the incident spread in the area between the night of May 30 and 31, there was widespread anger in an instant. Local residents blocked the accused headmaster and the agitated crowd beat him up. Later, the police reached the spot, arrested the accused and took him to Patenga police station. The headmaster had been raping the girl for 3 years.

 

It is believed that a case has been filed by the victim’s family. There is a possibility of filing a case under the Prevention of Violence against Women and Children Act. However, the official details of the case, medical examination information and detailed statement of Patenga Police Station have not been published so far. Relevant sources have confirmed that the investigation is underway.
