Photoshop Manipulation Exposed After Release of Dr. Yunus’s Picture With Trump

The Press Wing has released a photo of Chief Advisor Dr. Yunus and his daughter Dina Yunus with US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. The photo was taken at Trump’s reception dinner at the Lotte New York Palace on September 23, according to Dr. Yunus’ official Facebook page.

Since the photo was published on the social media platform Facebook from the verified page of the Chief Advisor’s Press Wing at midnight on Friday, September 26, there has been laughter and trolling across the country. Netizens have noticed signs of Photoshop manipulation in the photo.

The Press Wing post claims that Dr. Yunus and his daughter Dina posed for photos with US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump at a reception hosted by the US President in New York on September 23.

The photo has already gone viral. After digital forensic examination, signs of manipulation were found in the photo. Photoshop experts have suggested that the photo of Dr. Yunus and his daughter has been superimposed on the photo taken with the head of state of Panama. There is also a difference in lighting between the part of Yunus and his daughter and the part of the Trump couple, meaning the two parts were added separately.

Additionally, ChatGP also confirmed the image as fake after testing. The image highlighted the differences in light and shadow through AI analysis.

Dr. Yunus’ page claims that Dr. Yunus invited President Trump to visit Bangladesh at a convenient time at the dinner of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. Both exchanged greetings at the event. He also exchanged views with former leaders of different countries of the world.

Earlier, Dr. Yunus will leave Dhaka with a huge convoy of 104 members on Sunday night, September 21, to attend the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. This huge baggage is also being heavily criticized.
