Hundreds of students of Milestone School and College in Diabori, Uttara, in the capital, were killed. Their charred bodies are no longer distinguishable. Pictures of the classrooms in the destroyed buildings bear witness to how tragically these tender children were killed. Their relatives are rushing from far and wide. Burnt books and ID cards are being spread one after another on social media, including Facebook. Along with this, the government is trying to hide the bodies and the ISPR is telling lies after lie.

They declared a state of mourning in an official message like the cry of a crocodile, but the government itself did not accept that mourning. The state did nothing except a few meaningless formalities. On the contrary, on the day of the official mourning declaration, the hyena called the Chief Advisor bared his teeth and smiled the most hideous smile in the world in front of the camera. They brought the leaders of the four political parties, including the BNP, and everyone drank orange juice.

It’s like a festive day! Even while taking a picture of them smiling together, they didn’t think about the minimal tradition of wearing black badges on the national day of mourning. Everything is fine—as if nothing has happened anywhere. But what happened is known only to the families of the approximately three hundred children who were killed, and their surviving friends and classmates.

The question is, why hasn’t anyone raised the issue of the Air Force or the armed forces after such a tragic massacre? What is the reason behind the hibernation that civil society, which fought for the lives of this country, has given? Can’t we open our mouths about the crimes of the Air Force? The army and the government should join hands and say, “How many people were killed, that’s not a big deal.” So what’s the big deal? Power? In order to stay in power, the bodies of more than three hundred children had to disappear like this?

Immediately after the incident, the Air Force said that the pilot tried his best to take the fighter jet to a safe place. In fact! When BD Digest released the CCTV footage 24 hours later, it was revealed that far from trying, he had instead ejected himself safely from the plane after pinpointing the target. The CCTV footage does not match the ISPR’s memorized statement. Why should we believe them?

The way the illegal chief advisor, the murderer Yunus, called four political parties in the dark of night and drank juice, and the way the legal advisor Asif Nazrul shamelessly came in front of the media and gave an irrelevant speech – this proves that they are not worried about the dead students of Milestone School and College and other injured, they are only worried about the sharing of power. Everyone came together and announced – their unity is fine. But no one has questioned your unity, people have wanted to know – what is the real number of bodies? They wanted to know a clear number, but you have not told it; on the contrary, those who wanted to know the number of bodies – were brutally beaten by the police. After drinking juice and filling their stomachs, they announced that the charred bodies of the children of this country are just your chess pieces.

More than forty-eight hours have passed—what a misfortune! The Air Force Chief has not even apologized to the nation. Such is their arrogance. A few days before the milestone tragedy, this army has been carrying out genocide in Gopalganj. They have entered his house and killed people following the footsteps of the Pakistani army, just like in 1971. It is not possible to find out the actual number of people killed in that massacre. The biggest thing is that human bodies have been seen floating in the canals and ponds of Gopalganj. The autopsies of the deceased have not even been done.

When this is the situation, it is time to understand for sure that this army is actually a murderous army. They are brutally killing children and then disappearing their bodies. At the same time, Operation Gopalganj and a conspiracy to let the Americans manage the port and set up a naval base are going on. But if you look, you can see that the July-born intellectuals of the whole of Bangladesh are not saying anything. They are now busy reminiscing with their mouths shut. Students are being beaten up on the streets demanding the bodies of their classmates. They are also being attacked by the terrorists of Jamaat-BNP-Shibir-NCP. But our Yunus’s chatterbox is spreading the ‘July Revolution’ in the arts. There is not a single word from the mouths of these degree-bearing boar cubs about the way the media is being attacked by the army in Bangladesh today, the way the media is being suppressed. It is written in their blue book – they will open their mouths not on the question of justice, but only on the question of dollars.

The dynamics of what is happening are a big ominous sign. Yunus’s illegal government has made Bangladesh a pawn in an international conspiracy. The juicy meetings with political parties and Asif Nazrul’s evil press briefings show that they have no concern for these children who are victims of murder. They need to consolidate the power they illegally gained.

The brutal murder that took place at Milestone School and College is evidence of militant involvement if you look at the profile of the pilot’s friend in the Air Force who defended him. The biggest thing is that the pilot targeted the plane and crashed there, as evidence is found in the CCTV footage. But what is the reason behind the politics of missing bodies? And can the information about missing bodies be covered up by blacking out the media? All this will come out gradually. But the burnt children of God will not return. The child who survived with burns and wounds for the rest of his life will be chased by the death of his friend and classmate for the rest of his life. There is no point in the army sitting in a pile of corpses and pretending to be a guard. You are shooting bullets bought with people’s money at the people, eating rations with people’s tax money, and are you disappearing people’s bodies?

There will be no army on this day. The moneylender will take his capital and cut it off. But you will have to account for the dead.
