Awami League Leaders Distribute Leaflets Near National Press Club

Awami League leaders and activists launched a leaflet distribution campaign on Saturday near the National Press Club in Dhaka, targeting the interim government led by Dr. Muhammad Yunus.

The campaign began at 8:30 a.m. as part of a previously announced program running from February 1 to February 5. Leaders distributed leaflets to pedestrians and passengers in the area. Former Chhatra League Joint General Secretary Muhammad Anwar Hossain said the campaign would continue for five days across the country, including Dhaka.

Participants in the distribution included former Chhatra League leaders Mukib Mia, SM Abdur Rahim, Enamul Haque Prince, Didar Muhammad Nizam-ul-Haq, MM Nazmul Hasan, Hasan Ahmed Khan, Kapil Halder Sojal, and others.

The leaflets alleged illegal and unconstitutional actions by Dr. Yunus, demanded his resignation, and highlighted concerns such as fabricated charges against Sheikh Hasina, minority violence, economic mismanagement, and attacks on cultural figures and religious sites. Participants distributed leaflets urging action on these issues.
